We offer several music opportunities at Morningstar UMC: The praise band leads worship each week, and provides offertory music several times each month.  The praise band has piano, guitar, and vocals.  Praise Band rehearsal is on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, from 10:30 am to noon.  Instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome to join us! The Chancel Choir provides offertory music several times each month.  The choir is SATB, and made up of high school students and adults, although gifted elementary and junior high students are welcome to participate.  Rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:00 pm each week throughout the school year. The Handbell Choir provides offertory music several times each year.  The choir rings on three octaves of Schulmerich bells and two octaves of Suzuki chimes.  Youth and adults make up the handbell choir.  Rehearsals are Thursdays at 6:00 pm each week throughout the school year. Children's music is available through a children's choir and children's handchime choir.  Rehearsals are part of the Wednesday Family Night and take place at 7:00 pm each week during the school year. Soloists, instrumentalists, and small ensembles are welcome to provide offertory music at various times throughout the church year, particularly in the summer.  Please contact the church office if you are interested in providing music.
