We offer a number of opportunities for youth at Morningstar UMC, including: Christian formation on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am.  We will be studying the day's Scripture and applying it to everyday life. Christian formation each Wednesday at Family Night.  Youth join their families for dinner at 5:45 pm, followed by a class for junior and senior high youth at 7:00 pm.  Family night ministries follow the Unit 5 school calendar. Youth meet on the first Sunday of each month, following worship, for lunch and fellowship at a local restaurant. The youth group takes  annual retreats, ski trips, & mission trips, and attends Christian concerts.  They also serve regularly in local mission.  These events take place, on average, once each month throughout the school year. Confirmation classes are available every other year for 7th and 8th graders. The next confirmation class will begin in the fall of 2010.
